You know this could be just what you are looking for - a true pedigree Carolina luxury sport fishing yacht for under $190,000.
I just listed this beauty a few days ago. I do not specialize in Buddy Davis sport fishing boats as a matter of fact I really do not specialize in any one kind of boat, I guess that’s what I like about being a yacht broker, I get to go on and sell all different kinds of boats and yachts.
But when the seller said would you list and sell my clean 1986 47 Buddy Davis I jumped at the chance, after all it’s a Buddy Davis.
The really cool thing that I like about this particular boat is the interior layout. She is a galley up but without the galley divider, in other words you do not step into the galley and have a counter top at both hips. The galley is L- shaped so what this means is the salon is wide open. Another great thing about this older boat and for those of you that spend time on older boats there is zero, I mean zero odors on the boat. The head liner is nice and tight and not sagging, and checks this out – the wood, the beautiful teak wood is dry – no water stains from old leaks, the windows sills are nice and dry. What compliments this particular 47 Buddy Davis is the full tower with the triple spreader Rupp outriggers it really adds to the profile. She has a top of the line cockpit fighting chair. As we know Buddy Davis Yachts are world renowned for their sea keeping abilities, beautiful Palm Beach profiles and distinguished bow flare with world class craftsmanship. This 47 Buddy Davis has a transom name, she is named Prize Fighter, what a name for a sport fisherman – Prize fighter, the name itself conjures up big game fishing. She is hull #13 and has an all fiberglass hull. She would make a perfect family fishing boat or a perfect charter vessel.

The 30’ Tiara Open is a perfect day boat/weekender.
With gas or diesel options, molded hard top and quality construction
that Tiara Yachts are known for the 30’ Tiara will satisfy any quality boat buyer looking for a premium 30’ boat.
The LOA of the 30’ Tiara Open with the pulpit and the optional swim platform is 35’0”
She has a nice 12’6” beam and draws 2’8” the hull has prop pockets.
The power is either a choice of two Crusader engine options or Cummins diesels.
The 30’ Tiara can come with a choice of a gas generator or a diesel generator and can come with a fishing package or cruise package.
The 30’ Tiara replace the 29 Open Tiara back in 2006 if my memory is correct.
The windshield is a composite material unlike the older 29 Tiara Open. The 30 has a stylish hard top.
Like all the Tiara Yachts she had a great helm station that is hinged.
There are a couple of exterior seating options. The interior is comfortable for a couple with air conditioning and a small galley and head.
Today – June 21st 2010 there are eight pre owned 30’ Tiaras on the brokerage market in the US

Listing Your Yacht

Hello are you considering selling your yacht?
A large part of my job as a licensed Yacht Broker for Allied Marine is obtaining clean quality listings.
I really enjoy my job and getting clean yachts to sell is all part of the fun. I enjoy the challenge of marketing the vessels and finding a buyer.
I have been brokering vessel for over ten years.
Over the years I have been to school and trained on Hatteras Yachts, Bertram Yachts, Tiaras, Searays, Azimuts, Ferretti Yachts, Rivas, Pershing Yachts & Mochi Crafts, just to name a few.
I do not specialize in one particular brand or style; one of the great aspects of my job as a broker is learning about and selling a variety of yachts.
There is more to the overall picture than listing a vessel for sale.
To list your vessel and sell her in a timely fashion and have the least amount of hassle, the following needs to be done:
Vessels have to be competitively priced. They need to be in “yacht show” condition all the time it is on the market for sale. They must be ready for water trials and rigorous Surveys.

Built in Forli Italy, the Ferretti Yacht Group created a unique version of the blue collar downeast fishing boat.
The 64 Mochi Craft has an elegant yet rugged and soft profile and very distinguished lines.
The 64 Mochi Craft has a tumble down hull aft, a large comfortable cockpit. She has a very majestic bow, with a bow flare
more commonly seen on luxury custom built sport fisherman.
She has a fold down transom area which gives access to the tender garage, the transom comes to rest above the water converting the transom in great real estate, put out some deck chairs put up some sun shade, throw the tender into the water that is as clear as looking at a Gin & Tonic – what a way to spend the day..
The 64 Mochi Craft runs as good as she looks with optional MAN 1224 cruising at a comfortable approximately 27 Knots.
I always find it amazing how quite it is when the boat is underway and I am on the fly bridge.
The fly is well laid out and will be comfortable for friend and family. The fly bridge is an extension of the lines on her profile it is integrated into the superstructure – not added on as an afterthought.
It must be the brow covering the top of the forward windshield that re-directs the wind around the super structure?
The Yacht has a fine teak interior that would make anyone feel very comfortable in, a beautiful Teak and Maple sole.
The carpentry is world class - as we have come to expect from the Ferretti yacht Group
The 64 Mochi Craft has a big spacious salon with a flip open aft bulkhead window that lifts up allowing the salon to flow out onto the aft deck.
The 64 Mochi has a lower interior helm station forward on the starboard side opposite the galley.
There are three large staterooms with crew quarters aft on the aft deck. The 64 is easily handled by a family so turn the crew into rooms for the children/grand children or use them for extra storage?
All there staterooms have heads with stall showers and the master is mid ship with an extra large head.
The Mochi Craft Fly also come in a 74’ flybridge.
I believe that the 64 Mochi Craft is a very exciting yacht and offers a lot more than most 64’ yachts do not.

The best way for me to personally decried the 840 Altura is WOW -

I mean it’s great, it’s very cool and its different.
When we step aboard the majority of yachts and enter the salon the feeling we get/expect is the same feeling as the majority of other yachts that we have stepped aboard, you know sliding salon door stepping into a long salon with fine stones and exotic woods.
But when I first stepped into the 840 Altura my first impression was WOW - to me it was like stepping into a condo, probably because of the split levels, hopefully in the presentation below you can appreciate what I and trying to say.
There is an abundance if natural light, the galley is down (now you folks that are against the galley down yachts, please understand it not down in a dark place) its down but its bright you can and talk to someone in the salon, there is a very large window that you can open for a cross breeze – it’s very cool.
The interior helm station is on an upper level out of the way of the salon.
The master stateroom is a full beam master and is aft of the salon with a large window behind the bed and large windows to the sides
The bow area is very cool area there is great wrap around seating, there is a large retractable umbrella for shade covering a large table, an awesome place to start the day with breakfast or end it with a magical sunset forward of the seating area our bow sun pads. If you want to eat outside and do not want to eat on the bow or the bridge then there is a large table on the aft deck
The fly bridge is great real estate, plenty of room, to hang out and entertain with close friends and family. There is an optional hard top with a retractable sunroof and there is room aft on the bridge for the tender and crane.
The 840 is a true performer like all of the Ferretti Yachts. Powered with twin MTU V12 200 series she cruises at a fast 27K. she has two 23 KW generators a 40HP bow thruster
For added comfort she has two Mitsubishi 4000 Anti Rolling Gyros to take the roll out of the yacht when on the hook or at lower speeds.
Overall the 840 Altura is a unique and special motor yacht and if you are considering owning an 83-84’ motor yacht you owe it to yourself
to inquire further about the 840 Altura.

Since the Hatteras Bertram Shootout is going on I thought it was only fair to talk about the extra fine sport fishing yachts.

Bertram has aways been renowned for being the premier production sport fisherman. Not only known for the superb quality and craftsman ship but also for the legendary ride. These fine yachts are still built in SW Florida. Bertram just introduced the new flagship – the 80 convertible.
We are all aware that the marine industry has been hit hard over the last few years due to the economy. But things are picking up and very soon all the deals out there will be GONE and will never be seen again. It just so happens that we have a few of those great deals
